South of Broad

This a tale of two homes...the original structure was built in 1781, and a significant addition was built in the early 1990s. New owners of the home came to the Dolphin Team planning a simple, cosmetic remodel, which soon turned into a down-to-the-studs renovation.

Years of water intrusion, both through the 18th-Century foundation and masonry walls, as well as through the 20th-Century roof, led to reconstruction of much of the 1990s addition and building a modern, water-tight foundation under the original 18-Century structure.

Working with the brilliant team at Kristin Paton Interiors from Boston, it was a dream to breathe new life into this jewel box home, and give it centuries of life to come.
